Ben Van Horn is a litigator with a diverse background in both private and public practice in state and federal courts nationwide. He has successfully litigated cases at all stages—and all over the country—on behalf of businesses and individuals in a wide range of sectors, and he brings a wealth of experience, insight, and creativity to every matter. Ben is also a member of the civil pro bono panel for the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
Prior to joining SSMK, Ben clerked for U.S. District Judges Daniel D. Domenico and Raymond P. Moore in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, after spending several years in private and governmental practice.
During law school, Ben was an active student, serving executive positions with the Cornell International Law Journal, Moot Court Board, and as a Judicial Codes Counselor. Before practicing law, Ben was a writer, video editor, and reporter for sporting events and local news outlets.
